Sleep Talking Darling Of Mine

I am a light sleeper which means that I can wake up easily with any sound or noise made. But lucky me that I am not a super light sleeper where I wake up for every sound or noise made. Just sound that is loud enough to wake me up. Once I am awake, it will take me some time to fall back asleep again depending on the situation. In order words, if I were to sleep next time a person who snores, boy, I got a feeling I will have a restless sleep! Boss Darling does not snore so I guess I am blessed in a way. But then, Boss Darling has another “activity” he does while he is sleeping. Once in a while, Boss Darling will sleep talk in his sleep and I usually just wake him up by lightly touching his cheek or hand. By doing that, he will usually stop his sleep talking and goes back to sleep or he will wakes up from my touch and asked me what is wrong because he does not realised that he slept talked.

I found out about his sleep talk when I stayed over at his place last time when I was still in university. I initially thought that I was dreaming and making things up because his parents did not realised he slept talk. But be hold! He does sleep talk.. hehe sometimes it assumes me and himself as well.

I remember one night, I was dreaming of some cute and handsome fellas when I was waken up by Boss Darling. Obviously he was sleep talking although he looked serious and looked at you with his gorgeous eyes.

Boss Darling: I can’t call the headquarters.. *with worried look*

SiwwyPig: huh? what? *rub eyes*

Boss Darling: I can’t call the headquarters.. I don’t know why… *touches SiwwyPig’s hand with a worried look*

SiwwyPig:*touches Boss Darling’s face* Bee..are you okay?

Boss Darling: I can’t call the headquarters.. *with worried look*

SiwwyPig: okay okay.. call tomorrow morning… don’t worry go sleep…

Boss Darling:*goes back to sleep*

SiwwyPig: -_-”

Other times, he will usually say something random such as “Furniture Spot Light” (Furniture Spot is a place where furniture are sold near his parent’s home and Spot Light is another store that sells mostly anything to do with house decorations especially fabric), “How much is this toaster?” and “I am hot” (when actually it was cold and he then pulled the blanket to cover himself). Sometimes, Boss Darling just mumbles to himself and goes back to sleep again.

Last night, Boss Darling again woke me up middle of the night.

Boss Darling: *mumble mumble*

SiwwyPig: Huh? *open eyes and look at Boss Darling*

Boss Darling: Do you want it or not? *looking at me*

SiwwyPig: (I was wondering what on earth is he asking me…) Huh?? Want what?

Boss Darling: Popcorn la.. You want or not? *still looking at me*

SiwwyPig: (realised Boss Darling is sleep talking again) *touches Boss Darling’s face* Bee, you sleep talking laaa… wake up..

Boss Darling: *ignores me* Faster la, you want popcorn or not? *still looking at me*

SiwwyPig: From where?

Boss Darling: Got la.. you want or not first… *still looking at me*

SiwwyPig: What? *fully awake already now*

Boss Darling: Never mind laaa… *turns back and goes to sleep*

SiwwyPig: -_-”

Regardless, I still love Boss Darling to bits…. hehe
